Like corn, soybeans and grain, fiber is an agricultural product that is produced here in Illinois. However, unlike the other products, fiber is produced on a much smaller scale so that you, the consumer, have the unique opportunity to know exactly where the Illinois fiber you purchase comes from – right down to the county, the farm and even the particular animal!
What we strive to do is connect you to the farms, the Co-Op members and their animals. As a matter of fact, many times we’ll be able to show you a picture of the animal your preferred fiber comes from!
With Illinois fiber not only do you have a choice of a variety of high quality fibers, but you are helping build an important link to local Illinois farms and farmers and whole communities.
