The Illinois Green Pastures Fiber Cooperative has a rich and important story.
The heart of the Co-Op is the membership – the dedicated producers and their animals – each in turn representing all the members at events throughout Illinois and across the country. From small farms with a handful of animals to large operations with many, the Co-Op welcomes all producers regardless of experience. One of the goals of the Co-Op is to work and learn together. Another part of the story is that the Co-Op’s fibers – some softer than air and others rich in lore – are from animals raised here on Illinois farms. |
